The Third Order
The Third Order gathers Catholics who seek holiness in the circumstances of ordinary life while drawing strength from the Rule of Saint Augustine and the liturgical life of the Canons.
Members meet monthly for a common meal and spiritual conference. Retreats, days of recollection, and fellowship help sustain a life of prayer and mutual support.
Confirmed Catholics age eighteen and older may inquire about beginning formation.
One Heart and One Mind
Daily mental prayer, spiritual reading, the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary, regular reception of the sacraments, and fidelity to one’s duties of state form the ordinary rhythm of Third Order life.
Formation begins with a six-month postulancy and an eighteen-month novitiate. Three years of simple profession precede definitive profession.
